Danielle and Kelly Together Again! Awww, I love our happy duo. TLS and Grease Night. Oh what a night.
That TLS suit with the blazing blue tie, and GAH, a baby knee bend and THE VOICE from heaven itself. Glorious glory notes and a perfect rendition of TLS. Even Robin Gibb said that's the way the song was to be sung. Then Grease, the red leather the red leather the red leather, and the HIP SHAKE. Ummm, I used to take notes during the show...after Grease I threw my notepad to the floor. The teenagers who were assembled to vote had a good laugh. Honestly, I wanted to send flowers to the Grease camera persons...I was sure she was a Broad. Plus, remember the fun of seeing Courntey there in the audience, representing for us, giving sl**on a big ol' thumbs down.
Thanks, Kelly and Danielle, for that yummy walk down memory lane.
Per my newest tradition, I dove into GB Vol 1, and found #1350, the page where we started discussing BeeGees Night.
Now that I've seen the Early Show caps from RHT, I can hardly wait for that fresh Clack. Is it 'fresh' Clack if it's photos/videos of younger Clayton?
Jill, I have so enjoyed your recaps. Glad you had your catharsis.
I LOVE LBFCA!

The Early Morning Show was cute, wasn't it? I would kill to see the Cher impression again. How about it, Clay? "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves"!
DANEILLE AND KELLY - Oh, the MP brings me back. I was smitten! Loved all the wonderful pictures and your comments. My problem, actually started that night, blame it on......
THE RED LEATHER JACKET, LORELEI'S TOP TEN
10. Red on Red.
9. $1200 and worth every penny!
8. Sl*mon was jealous....that's why he said Clay was "horrible".
7. The jacket was nice and tight, just like the jeans.
6. I knew he had "the voice" throughout AI2, but this was the first time I saw him as a bone fide sex symbol. (Yes, you are Clayton!)
5. Paula's a double Xer - She was taken by the Aiken charm on Bee Gee's night.
4. Lipbite of delight/Red leather jacket - The first photo downloaded on my picture file!
3. What was the song again?
2. The "jacket", the "jeans" and the "hip shake"........put it all together and it's a lethal combination!
1. ZIPPER!!!
One more thing, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PATS! See you in Grand Forks! Love ya!
Gotta go........toodles.

Danielle and Kelly - What a glorious MP. Since I didn't get the opportunity to fall in love the first time around, these nostalgic trips are sweet misery to me. What in the world was I doing with my life a year ago that was so important!????
Killer D - Love your Lack of Clack Blues. All it needs is a little accompaniment - kinda Janis Joplinish. Now, where did I leave that ding-dang harmonica....?
Amy e, Kinri and the rest of us who have the shakes should be feeling better by this evening. There's a little something on RHT, but it's not going to help much, methinks: http://www.redhottopic.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=21578&st=80
For all of y'all that are fretting over Brett...maybe he'll pull his entire enlistment in North Carolina - like MY Marine is doing. Wouldn't Mama Faye just love that?!
I'm sitting here pretty sure I programmed my VCR and then failed to set the little button that tells it to pay attention to the prgramming! RATS!

I feel better. SO. MUCH.BETTER. Brenda in Raleigh (Hi, Sweetie), was right. The Early Show segment was wonderful. I particularly liked the part where Mama Faye was talking about watching "Can't Help Myself" with friends and had to remind them, "Ladies, that's my son!" And bad news, Paula in the Loo. From the little bit I heard, it sounds as if "Proud of Your Boy" is gonna kill us just as dead!
Diana K - Your fantastic "Lack of Clack Blues" was spot on! Fortunately, it appears that tune is about to change - at least for a little while.
Thanks to the Dynamic Duo of Danielle and Kelly for the latest MP. I confess to always loving the red leather jacket. And the hipshake! It was that which inspired Mr. OH Cindy to first utter what has become his stock response when watching me watch Clay - "Oh, yeah. She's gone!"
Jannet - How right you are. "To the pole" it is!
Mindee - Are you out there? If so, e-mail me please. I've lost your addy somehow.
Pats - Happy Birthday! I have a feeling you're one of those people who is always doing things for everyone else. Be good to you today. It's your day!
To backtrack for just a minute, look back at the photo on Sandi's MP from yesterday. How does he make his mouth go up on one side and down on the other? For that matter, how does he do any of the myriad of enchanting things he does? He is magical, isn't he?

Briefly returning from lurkdom to say I just saw the CBS Morning Show segment, and it was wonderful. It was FINALLY shown (after a gazillion teasers) at about 8:30 Eastern, 1 1/2 hours into the show. I'll be back... really! That's a promise. Or maybe a threat, depending on you point of view...

Breaking trad with a vengeance. Didn't wanted anyone to be late for work due to my earlier news flash crawler. Do remember that the particular BIT who informed me Clay would be on next is a mere 7 years of age; therefore next could actually have been "in the next few hours", "next broadcast", even "next week". If you're like me; any dangling morsel of upcoming Clay is enough to keep you planted in front of the boob tube. However, I must apologize for nude Iraqi photos your barely-awake-peepers were just subjected to. Yuck. The things I'll sit through just to get to Clay. Nude pictures of Clay is another story. Okay, semi-nude, this early in the a.m.
Anyhoo, I know I'll love the MP and all the posts, and will be back soon. And if, in fact, he's not on today, please don't kick me outta the hizzouse.

I finally caught up on 30+ PP's, so this is a *Long Post Alert*
First things first...clickity-clack Pats and NC Jennifer.
Loved the recent MP's...Sandi "I will Kerry you" was brilliant! Thanks for the walk down memory lane, Danielle and Kelly Beegees Night made me stop lurking and tomorrow (May 7th) is my LBFCA Claniversary. Granted, my first post was a bit harsh toward the Grease outfit, but I've since changed my tune on the red leather.
*waves* to all the newbies, de-lurkers and still lurkers.
Great big *hugs* to all the Broads dealing with RL issues.
Kelly NY I'm glad you were able to get tickets. Have a great time at your first concert. BTW...where can I see this Trentlet guy?
Poor Dear Clabby is swamped with a mountain of letters from Broads needing advice...you can see her here.
Van thanks for the link to your discussion...too bad some people are so closed minded that they will never give Clay a chance because of AI.
Shieldmaiden where do I sign up to be Clay's doup-skelper?
Lisa M, I loved the window decal on eBay.
Sheri and Pejay thanks so much for the link to that wonderful article. My favorite line: ...he is like honey in our tea when his voice is heard.
*yay* Carol! Keep those tix safe and sound.
Talk Nerdy To Me...I love it, Christina!
Awww, Suzy P *hugs* for your BEER....although I do have to admit I laughed. You just have to remember that anything over 25 is "old" to most teenagers. Ummmm, BTW, where exactly is this gas station?
MGM Pat I was going to link that Mama Faye letter, but you beat me to it...thanks! I'll now be praying for Brent along with all his military brothers and sisters.
Mare thanks for the link to the article by the fan from Buenos Aries.
Ans last, but never least...Killer D, the Lack of Clack Blues was great! I always enjoy your creativity.

Lisa M...I so agree with you about Edwards for Kerry's running mate. In fact, I was really pulling for him to be The Candidate, but I guess the timing wasn't right, and besides he's young and has plenty of time.
Can you say deja vu; i.e. Kennedy era?
