Muse Clay I was musing on this for great portions of the day;pondering HRHs effect on us all;inspiring us to such creative endeavours and efforts.
I can't decide what to do first... write, sketch, paint, all of the above. How about just fantasize? He really is a muse, isn't he?
So often, you read of great artists like Picasso;great writers like Henry Miller;great poets, etc. and their muses and, frankly, it's all about the men. And the muses are the various women passing thru their lives.
How lucky are we? We get OMC in all his beauteous glory.Truly a gift from the goddesses...(heh, they know beauty when they see/hear it! And *Thor's Hammer* they would certainly appreciate his...ahem OTHER gifts!)
When I can finally figure out which creative act(!!!) I'm most inclined to, I'll join you all in the Clayton Creative Pool.
I hear the water is perfect;a beautiful blueish green that sparkles in the sunlight(and moonlight too). Not too deep, but just deep enough.(ee!)

Had a lovely Mother's Day working in my garden. Still kept up on My Clay Life, of course.
Several interesting tids and bits on this page from CH:
Scroll to post by Cap121 for the copy of an interview with Clay, and a snippet of an interview Paula about Clay, apparently from some Atlanta magazine, called Jezebel. In the interview Clay says his favorite designer is Paul Smith.
Then, scroll down to the post from ellenpoppy, for a copy of an article from kansas.com, saying Clay will be getting $100,000 for his appearance at the Kansas State Fair in September. Yay, Clay!
Then, on the last post of the page, ellenpoppy (again), found a Paul Smith website. Pretty interesting.
OK, important announcement.....back by popular demand (ok, I asked her, Dear Clabby has agreed to get back in business, and is prepared to receive your inquiries. Feel free to email her at the MP Broads yahoo email account. The MP Broads will pass the inquiries on to Dear Clabby, because for some reason she wants to remain annonymous.
lecherousbroads@yahoo.com/Dear Clabby
Dear Clabby has agreed to bring select letters, and her wise responses, to a MP sometime in our future.
I LOVE LBFCA!
CLAY AIKEN IS OUR IDOL ALWAYS AND FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!

LISA M There's and interesting website for writers and their rejection letters - www.rejectioncollection.com Sorry about the editor passing on your most recent submission. Keep going! JK Rowling was passed over what? 40 times? before Harry Potter was published? If it helps, I believe in you after reading about "Count Claycula." It was very well written!

Jannet, thanx for covering in my absence--isn't that essay the sweetest thing ever? (and concerning the sweetest thing ever, too) RHT has Clayby pictures over there someplace too, but I forget where. Colander brain strikes again.
Slightly disappointing news--the Canadian publisher passed on my fantasy novel. Only slightly disappointing cause in the months they have had it I have found some things abt it that need fixing. So when I ship it out again, I will feel even better abt it. Besides, I just dug out my 1st novel from several years back...it's a scifi/romance/murder mystery, which nobody wanted then because it wasn't a 'genre' (translated, they couldn't label it...sound like somebody we know?) Of course, if you walk into a bookstore now, genre-benders are all you see! SOOOO--I'm gonna clean this one up & send it out again. Divide & conquer. Hey, if Clay wouldn't take no, why the heck should I??
Hopefully this will not affect my fic output. I doubt it since Muse Clay seems to be sleepin in my bed lately (o rapturous thought)...Sometimes the creative drive is more important than $. Although $ is nice too--buys more Clack...& concert tickets...heh, heh.

Happy Mothers Day to all the Broads and Broad Mums! And Birthday Wishes to all I've missed!
Hubby doesn't know that his Mothers Day/Birfday present to me this year will be a weekend in Dayton, Ohio! Yes, you heard it here first. And for all you midwest broads who encouraged me - BWAHAHA! the joke's on you. Now you have to put up with me!
Thong? Are you serious? What kind of industrial strength fabric was this "thong" made of? I need some of that. Or maybe he had some duct tape left over...? I can't imagine what poor innocent young Clayton went through getting everything contained in that slinky number. But I'll try.
Mom, if you're lurking here, Happy Mother's Day, and no, you didn't raise me this way.....

Happy Mother's Day! Belated Birthday wishes too. The "Birthday Princess" hat I found was only kind of purplish, not really purple. At church today, I was distracted by the presence--right in front of me, too--of red hair, jug ears, freckles, cute nose, and pink lips singing...before I remembered that he's not just way underage, he's --HULLO-- RELATED! Then, when some kids came running up with their Sunday School gifts for their mothers, Mom directed my attention to a young mother in front of us...who'd just had a PURPLE CROWN placed on her head! I wondered if they were all purple, but, no, a pink one soon appeared....Needless to say, I had a smile on my face when I left, and daydreamed the whole way home. Home to the clack. Mom enjoyed the May/June J-14 poster even more when I explained the Rub My Tummy shirt. I do have a beef with In Touch on the May 17 issue. A two page spread is not enough to contain HRH, so why the h*ll would you insert your own lame filler?! When I want glossy clack, I want it pure and undiluted! Don't 'cut' it with white flour like John Stevens! If I wanted an AI orgy, I'd have Happy Disco Pants Clay on the other side! I like pale redheads, but do NOT crap in my clack!!! Cluppy is always welcome, even if Raleigh eliminates something foul occasionally, but K-Lo's monster cleavage and Michael Orland's thumb GOTS to GO!!!!! Got it? I heard BMUB in the shampoo aisle, and no, it was not an organic experience. I never knew the original was so mediocre... I've altered my opinion of Anna Nicole Smith. All it took was a comment that she likes nerdy guys too, they can be [ measuring gesture with hands]....Guess she ain't so dumb afterall! Thank you, Paula Abdul. You didn't ream him a new one over that "joke" about the remaining AI3 contestants being the most talented group of women since Clay Aiken, but you did get snarky with Nonads and imply that the camera ain't so fond of his fat Irish head. And did some dance coaching that ended with Nonads saying "Okay, I'm gay. Gotta go call the wife!"..... What's up with the clip of however he's spelling it this week Jamie Fox in a striped shirt answering "Nekkid Twister!" in Breakin' All the Rules? Looks like another Scary Movie to me if it ain't Clayton sayin' it. Good gosh, Julie, please tell me you didn't dress up as Boy George too. My aunt still has evidence that I did. Wow, Jannet. If your yard is that difficult, what must Britney's crabgrass be like? Did I say that? On a Sunday? *calls out* "Yoohoo... Mr. Punisher...I've been a bad gurrl..." **We've also been correcting lotsss of multiple 'S' typosss in this post, Precioussssss. We doesn't know why...**
from Shieldmaiden...nerdy enough to know that Princess Hat is really just a 15th century steeple hennin you can wear WITH hai
