I had a special visit from a special CH member this afternoon. She left me a wonderous gem. It's a montage that is only available from the Clackhouse vault! I assured her I would share it as best I could. It contains slo-mo major grindage set to music. (you'll love it)

So, if you'd like to see it, email or IM me and I'll try my best to get it to you!

CLAYTON, YOUMOVE ME IN WAYS YOU'LL NEVER EVEN KNOW!

Ole!Thank you Cindy for your birthday wishes. My oldest son who shares my birthday would always go into Spanish class and thank them for throwing him a birthday party. He was the best present I ever received.

Congrats to all of you going to Dover. I thought about it but I'm going to try for AC and Delaware State Fair. My cousin and I want to relive going to the fair when we were little. Her job was to watch out for her 2 little cousins while we rode the rides and played the games on the midway. But she said that last year she and Clay (her husband, who she always called Clayton) didn't get there.

I'm trying to bribe my youngest son into going to NY to see GMA. I promised him a day of shopping afterwards. We'll see.

Hope to see some of you this summer.

Life's a beyotch and so am I. Let's just get that out of the way.

I've never been fond of including politics on the message boards I frequent because it can be so divisive, but I'll say this about a Clay and Mrs. Kerry partnership: Heinz...Pennsylvania...coincidence? I'll give you 2 combo reasons why.

Let's be fair to Ms. Paula. She's got a rotten thumb, and strong meds for it. She says it was a bad manicure that got infected down to the bone, but it was probably all the secret TRL voting. She still wants him.

Suzy P., your BEER is better than mine. Really it was Mom's, but I'm embarrassed for her. Lets just say that she started one day by stalking and taking pictures of little "Frontier Clay" who was all of 6 or 7, and ended it by running from a store to tell me that "Teen Clay" was inside and had come to fill her bag. She wondered how bad it would look if she went back in to show me. (Hello. I've seen him before.) I voted to leave, so she backed out and was debating swinging around by the doors for a possible peek at him...when he came out pushing something. To say that she reacted like a guilty giddy schoolgirl would be putting it mildly. At least she didn't wreck the car when she ducked and swerved. Or spun her head around to watch him. If he'd heard any of her squealy delusional ramblings, there'd be a court order to keep us off the premises. (Oh yeah, we had the hot-off-the-printer photos of "Frontier Clay" that she'd rushed to get developed too.) It was delusional even to me.

If only Clay had attended the same academy as Jimmy Stewart *sigh*.... Instead, we got Benicio.

I don't want to take a page from Left Out's book, but talk of the York Fair is just going to make me Pissy!Shieldmaiden. I've never been one for dragging my RL problems onto the boards (and there are plenty), and I know Cheyenne offered, but Mom wanted to get some test results before deciding anything (especially since we couldn't get through for tickets ourselves)...and we still haven't gotten all of them back! I'm not the first member of the family to complain about the YF, but it IS the only one really in our area (just 2 counties away), and honestly-- please don't take it personally-- it pisses me off that the tickets were sold so far in advance and in such a _________ way, and that people from out of the area could get them when we (and other residents) couldn't. I don't resent any of you who were able to get great tickets. I resent the Fair. They still haven't learned. They simply replaced disaster with stupidity in their business practices. It could be worse. They could sell your seat twice. [Rant over.]

MGM Pat---marianned.bravepages? Hmm...Clitoria mariana...coincidence? Yeah, I'd like to plant that particular Claytonia caroliniana in my bed! I'd even let him pluck my own flower to make room for him. And why does that look like the chimney in my garden...

Gee, I was just thinking about the fertility of clay last night while reading Southern Living. There was something about testing by taking a round-headed shovel, placing its tip on the surface of your planting bed, jumping high into the air...If you briefly lose consciousness, as well as some fillings...Rock-hard soil could mean a couple things. You could be digging in rock. Most likely, though, you're dealing with dirt that has a lot of clay in it. Folks in the Southeast often curse red clay, but clay comes in lots of colors--black, brown, white, and even blue. No matter the color, it is tough on plant roots. When clay is dry, it's as hard as concrete. When wet, it's as sticky as taffy. Clay drains poorly...Some people claim you can loosen clay by adding gypsum to it. The theory is that gypsum binds clay particles together to make bigger particles...The best way to loosen and improve clay soil is by adding lots of organic matter. Photocaption: When your soil is full of clay, red or otherwise, adding lots of organic matter will loosen and enrich it.~~~~~~~*fans self* I'd LOVE to loosen Clay by adding lots of organic matter...........

I think I hear the wild buttercup calling me from my lower garden......

Boo hoo hoo. My NBC friend called the Tonight Show guy and he said that the network doesn't have control of the tickets unless it's taped in their studio. Hey it was worth a shot, right?

The good news is that the next time he's in the studio, I can probably wrangle a few VIP tix for the Broads. I don't really know why I didn't think of this before...

So watch out Clayton, you're gonna be the subject of a broadly ambush the next time you appear on Leno in Burbank. Better tell Jerome to line up the backup now.

I put in double time voting TRL today. I for one would be upset if he fell off the countdown after so many weeks of effort. Sure we, I, they, he will ultimately BE fine no matter what. But I will FEEL much better if Clay's video gets retired thank if it slides out into oblivion. And in some small way the TRL retirement of The Way must be important to His Clayship. He asked for our efforts during the tour and he went to some effort, minor though it may be, to record a request for us to keep voting. I don’t know how TRL counts or credits the votes, but at least I vote to try to impact the outcome. If I don’t vote there is no chance of my having any effect or representation at all. And yeah, there are bigger issues to worry about. I do not feel that I have much control over ending the war, but I voted to try to affect those outcomes too. And chads notwithstanding, I will continue to vote on the bigger issues in the future as well.

SANDI: Love the MP! You can count on my vote too.

MARE: I tried to e-mail you but do not have your address. Please e-mail me. My address is at the link below.

Lechery later, after I'm done singing If I Had A Hammer and the patchouli incense has burned down. Now where did I put those tie-dye t-shirts?

MGM Pat Thanks for the link to Faye's letter. I like the part where she asks everyone to pray fo her sanity! And Baby Bro Brett in the Marines! Whoa. I'm a little nervous about that news. No wonder Faye's worried about her sanity. But let's all give it up to Breet for his bravery and patriotism!

Thanks to everyone who either pitied me for my gas station BEER moment or laughed at it. I'm over it now. He wasn't even that cute, he just had the potential to be...

I decided to torture myself and ask my NBC friend if he could have gotten me into the Las Vegas Leno show. I'll let you know what he says, if I don't jump off the Golden Gate that is.

Great MP SANDI! If only it was true... sigh.

More later...

YEEHAW! Scored two on the floor, row 10, in Grand Forks! OK, Grand Forks, Sioux Falls, should I make it a triplet with Bismarck, after all it's Clayton's first solo gig?

KAREN N - Clayton Holmes Aiken is the Magic Man. That is all! Thanks for the wonderful report from Openly Clay! Talk to you soon, my sistah!

SANDI - I don't think it's that far fetched, Clayton running for VP. That man was born for politics, a while ago, I mentioned he was on a higher path.......and ultimately, politics could be his chosen profession. Please Clay, no pressure here, sing your heart out for a few years, win over some more fans(voters)! He loves helping people, and Washington is the biggest power trip, just sayin'. Thanks for the hilarious MP, I Will Kerry You, Priceless!

Gotta go.....toodles.
