Oh, lookie, I just found hard proof of why Nelle spends so much time in her garden. If this is what comes of having a green thumb, I'm going outside and work, work, work.

HOEING RESULTS?

Thanks again Broads for your love vibes, I love you all! Unashamedly! Now we must dance! (I always had a thing for that German nerd , Dieter) I could so see Dieter interviewing Clayman. ////Dieter: Clay, touch my monkey, love him, touch him!/// I bring you this wonderfully mythic and beautiful description of Clay and his journey from ANNA over at a new site called Openly Clay. // "A beautiful but delicate young boy grew up in a strict southern Baptist household. He was a bit of a nerd growing up. His abusive, alcoholic, macho father didn’t quite like what he saw in his young son and so began a wedge driven between them that would last until his father’s death. When his parents split, the young boy grew even closer to his mama and grandma who embraced his being different. As the nerdy boy grew older, he was picked on at school but still managed to make friends through his bubbly, outgoing personality and sharp sense of humor. Although he seemed much more comfortable hanging with and living with his “girlfriends.” Throughout it all, one thing remained clear. The boy could sing. And it became a passion of his. As he got older, he developed another passion. Teaching children who had disabilities. So he decided to put his dreams of stardom on the back burner and be “sensible” and become a teacher. But his dreams haunted him. He had the nagging need to prove himself – to the people who had made fun of him and to the father that deserted him for being different. Those insecurities never left him. And the inborn competitiveness kicked in. He decided to go for it. It wasn’t an easy road. It was uphill all the way. But when this special boy opened his mouth and released THAT VOICE to the world, his teaching days were over. A star was born. His legion of fans began to grow. He never needed that stupid made up title that he sought. His fans always knew who he was. Like Frank and Elvis before him, he was their idol. And their idol he would remain. Secrets? Perhaps, he has some. Like all of us. But for those who have accepted him the way that he is – different – those secrets will remain with the beautiful boy. We love him for who he is – singer extraordinaire, brave humanitarian, sex symbol, and future legend. When he looks in the mirror, perhaps he still sees that delicate little boy. But when he steps on that stage there is no doubt who he is. He is magic. /////wow . Oh, and Sandi, you simply ROCK. FUNNY. Love the BEERS.

Suzy P. loved the BEER. I had one of those moments recently; at the magazine rack in the bookstore. He looked kinda like *skate-punk*Clay. (that's what I call him anyway;you know, the pics w/ the Brooklyn t-shirt.) My best friend and I stood there snickering and giggling until he walked away in disgust. We were like a couple of goofy teenagers. We also had a moment with a little Trent look-a-like who waited tables at our favorite IHOP. We called him the *Trentlet*. We're fairly sure he knew who he looked like and that we were leching over it. He was actually sweet and garnered himself some veerrry decent tips. So bad.

Cella Oh I'd just like to cover Mr. Aiken himself in that GONZO GRAPE sauce. Butthen again, the thought of him eating a GONZO GRAPE Snowcone with juice dripping down his chin and the inevitable purple tongue and lips....sigh...YUM.

Loved the last two MPs.

Whoever likened him to Jimmy Stewart...hit the nail right on the head.I thought Jimmy Stewart was sooo sexy in Philadelphia Story and in Rear Window. And actually in It's A Wondeful Life too.

I've told Mr. K/NY that he has a Jimmy Stewart sexiness about him.

lots of good images to wander off and contemplate,

Suzy P, you already know how much I enjoyed your BEER (ok, I'll let the rest of the Broads in on it...I immeditely emailed Suzy P to find out where to go view this local Clay Lookalike.)

Chell, you want to conduct research into how the full moon effects Our Boyfriend? What about how the full moon effects us Broads? I know it makes me want to kiss Clay's neck. But so does a waxing or waning moon, or bright sunlight, even rainy skies. Ok, I don't think I'm a proper test subject, but I could be in the control group. Control me, Clay!

Bringing pretty pretty Clack.

That's already been made into wallpaper.

I guess that pic is from the Special Edition MOAM being released in Singapore. I learned about it the other day at CH. Scroll down to the post by Temasek.

About TRL...I'm voting. I haven't changed my voting pattern in weeks. I don't trust TRL. I will keep voting. I'd like to see Clay's video be retired. BUT, I agree with those who are saying don't be too hard on ourselves about it. I don't trust TRL. I am confident Clay will be fine if The Way falls off the TRL countdown. I am confident we will all be fine if The Way falls off the TRL countdown. I don't trust TRL. BUT, I will keep voting...because Clay asked us to from stage during The Coming Tour. He specifically mentioned TRL. I will keep voting for HIM. I don't trust TRL, and really could care less about that stupid countdown. We're all gonna be ok, no matter what. (Can you tell I've been PP diving? I was reading some of the stuff I wrote last May)

I LOVE LBFCA!

I read over the weekend that Celeste Holmes celebrated her eithty-fifth birthday by marrying her forty-five year old opera singer boyfriend. I guess I feel better now. I, at least, have that age span beat by a little.

SUZY P I really loved your morning BEER. I have you beat in that I work with a unbelievable cutie who looks like made over AI Clay.....blond spikey hair, tall, thin, long long feet. And he so knows I think he's hot. I don't know, you think maybe it's because I call him Precious? I really wish he wouldn't call me Miss Pat.

I'm not going to worry about Clay's weight. For the first thirty five years of my life I was as skinny as a rail. I ate everything in sight and had great health and energy. Some people are just naturally thin.

On the cinnamon discussion...try cinnamon Eclipse. Great fiery sensation.

SANDI Great MP. I just bet Mrs. Kerry will be willing to teach Clay everything he needs to know to fill in for her husband.

I LOVE CLAY AIKEN

KAT & SANDI-- Loved, loved your MPs, especially being a Democrat! Nothing like politics to get the juices flowing! These MPs have gotten me all worked up for a re-make of "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" starring Clay Aiken.

It's a good thing my boss and I get along so well. Because I have a Clay Aiken "shrine" in my office and because his wife and her friends are big fans, Clay's name comes up sometimes in our conversations. Here are two recent ones.

Two Weeks Ago:

BOSS(WHO LIKE MOST MEN, DOESN'T GET IT): "Would you believe I actually tried for three hours Sataurday morning to get tickets for my wife and her friends for the York Fair. THREE HOURS! Finally was able to get Grandstand seats. I'm now a hero."

ME (GLOATING): "Would you believe I stood in line for 15 hours and got THIRD ROW center on the Track!" Ha Ha, got you beat!

Yesterday:

BOSS(AT COMPLETION OF DEPARTMENT MEETING--OTHERS AT THE MEETING TOTALLY CONFUSED AT THIS CONVERSATION)): "Guess what I did yesterday? Only you would appreciate it. I actually ordered a CLAY AIKEN BOBBLEHEAD DOLL for my wife for Mothers Day. She's going to be so excited to put it on her desk and show all her friends."

ME (SMUG): "ALREADY GOT ONE!"

Do you think he'll learn that he can't one-up this Broad?

Suz in MD, Sheri in Seattle and I are going to the Dover benefit. I know it's not assigned seating but over at the Clayboard, Hockeydonna says there are only 116 table seats. I can't wait to hear him in such a small venue -- my dream come true!

I believe I have finally started to climb out of my severe post-Claytal depression. And I have to give many thanks to the incredible MP broads for their assistance.

Kat, That MP is one of the funniest evah. I had to show it to Mr. Mare who appreciated the creativity, even though he doesn't really get "it".

And Wendy, I hope we haven't seen the last of the Clelly monologues. I can so hear him having those little exchanges with Raleigh!

Dear Clabby, I wish you hadn't left so soon. Isn't it obvious how much we need you?

Suzy P., I'm sorry you had to experience that but I gotta say, I've met you and that kid should be so lucky to date you!

CHELL - A full moon last night.......hmmm, that would explain Mr. Lorelei's behavior, AAaaOOoooo, werewolfs of Minnesota. I've got to put that man on a leash!

SUZY P - Thanks for the BEER, I had a similar experience when I became a delegate. One of the fellow delegates, happened to be a tall, thin, strawberry blond cutie who was wearing a suit with a purple tie(late 20's to early 30's) Oh, and he had wire-rimmed glasses, too. Mr. Lorelei saw me staring at him and told me, "get your tongue back in your mouth!" Luckily, I had to drop out due to RL, I was tempted, Broads. We could have ended up as roomates in Duluth.(State Convention) He's a climber, that man is. I'll be voting for him if he decides to run for public office.

I'm sure most of us have had our BEERs. I'd love for more Broads to spill them out. Come on, let's get tipsy.
