TexasGal, Jinx, and J4Clay!Clay has a message for you!
Happy Mother’s Day! Treasure her while you have her! I miss Mama and she’s been gone since ‘94. She definitely would NOT understand my ClayCraze, though! Had a nice surprise yesterday. Around 3, my son pops in! By himself! My DIL is very sweet, but I must say it was nice to have him to myself for a little while! He and hubby and I went out for dinner, he spent the night, just left a couple of hours ago. It was a nice visit. He was looking good, animated conversation and laughter. He brought his Big Dawg, Jake, a HUGE black lab/chow/German Sheppard mix- makes Penny look like a toy dog! Follows son everywhere he goes like a big baby! Funny!
Speaking of doggies, did somebody already postthis?!
MysteryBroad!Hey, Gurrl, I finished my homework, now will you send Professor Clay over to check it?!
Chell!Three more days of Book Fair to survive! Yikes! Then I gotta get things in gear for the field trip for all the AR top readers to Celebration Station! A big pain in the - - - Neck! I just hope our little ones aren’t surrounded by Middle Schoolers this year like they were last year! So, when is the next Raleigh mini-Broadfest? I’m ready for that drink!
Anybody see Paula Abdul talk about Clay being at the big whoop-de-do Washington affair!? They showed a tiny bit more of his “interview”.
Mary! I got in my 25 (plus) online votes! Hope we don’t slack off cuz we’re so busy with Mother’s Day! We gotta keep our “son” lifted up!
Long Live the Lechery!! Love the Broads!
Lovin’ that North Carolina Red Clay!

Happy Mothers Day to all the moms! And MOMS TO BE...AUDRA Mitzy I'd heard there was a special feature thingie on Ryan's show about being a Clay Superfan, inviting fans to submit videos and letters, which I think will be airing Tuesday. I don't know if Clay will show up for that....but it would be nice to get a new LIVE Clay sighting!

Happy Mother’s Day Broads! I hope you all get to spend time with your children and that you have the best Mother’s Day ever. I know I got the best Mother’s Day present I ever could get this year. My oldest daughter who left six years ago for her education has accepted a job here in The Peg and just bought a house a few days ago about five minutes away from me. She’ll be moving back in August. My youngest daughter, whom some of you met in St. Paul, will be making us all dinner at her house. AND, when hubby asked what I wanted for Mother’s Day I said that I wanted a payment on my Mastercard. Got it.
Speaking of concerts, I am a ticket-aholic. I am under the power of Ticketmaster. I seriously need help. First of all, I got fairly good disability seats for Grand Forks—but nooo, they weren’t good enough. The pre-sale came up. Got a ticket—not so good either. Then in the middle of the night, I saw some Row 7 Centre seats on ebay. Frantically, emailing Pats at 2:00 in the mooning I managed to purchase them. Fine. I should have been satisfied. But no, the regular sale came up on Saturday and I just had to go look. I really didn’t think anything good would come up. But then, OMG, what pops up? A THIRD ROW SEAT—right side. How could I not? Oh, help me. Pats is out of town and she is going to kill me when she gets back. She actually saved me from spending over $300 on a Clio ticket. Now I have a Row 7 ticket that I paid $100.00 US and a third row ticket that I paid regular price for. What an idiot I am. Now what do I do? The sad thing is I’m not even worried about the money. My quandary is what is the better seat? What if there is a catwalk? Then I’d want the Row 7 centre but if there isn’t, I’d want the Row 3. HELP! Should I keep both and go from seat to seat? Has anyone ever done this? Oh, and this concert is on my birthday. Clay will be singing to me on my birthday.
I know this is long but I just had to get that off my chest (thereapist is out of town) and I really don’t post very often. Between, Grand Forks, Sioux Falls and Clio I am a ticket buying mess. I need to surrender to a higher power. The Broads?

Jannet, thanks for bringing that essay from Freckles at RHT. That's really beautiful!
Thanks for the lovely Mom's Day MP, Cindy.
Happy Birthday to Jinx and Texas Gal.
Wishing all you mothers a great day. I'm spending mine in the garden :-)
Hmmm, nothing very lecherous or clever in this post....well, yesterday I saved my first Grizzy pic onto my hard drive. Really! Cali and Nightmare are crazy for The Clizzy. I think they are turning into Lesbian Cats for Clizzy!
I vote for thong, too!
I LOVE LBFCA!

Happy Mother’s Day moms! I think that this year, more than any other in the past, I’m realizing what a difference a good mother can make in the life of a child. Why am I feeling so sappy about Faye today?
Diana: I was thinking about you even before you posted.
This is a quicky because I need to get off to church (don’t wanna miss out on the traditional Mother’s Day “impatiens” pass out for goodness sake).
I had a hard time finding that post that LisaM linked… since I couldn’t remember my sign-on at RedHotTopic. I don’t know if anyone else had the same problem. But it was VERY sweet! And I appreciate Lisa for pointing it out. Hope you don’t mind Lisa… since you’re at church and all… But this is it:
God said, "I've made the perfect child. But I can't let him be perfect, there is only one perfect man, my son, Jesus. I'll give this child perfect hair and make it red. It will be beautiful except that I'll give him some cowlicks. I'll give him perfect skin except I'll make it very light, sensitive to the sun. And I'll add lots of freckles. That will make his future Claymates happy. I'll make his eyes very beautiful with lights in them. I'll make them a whole different color than any other eyes I've ever made. I'll make them a beautiful shade of green and add lots of red eyelashes. But I'll give him imperfect eyesight. He'll have to wear glasses. I'll make his nose and lips wonderful but I'll have to make his ears too big, to keep him from being perfect. I'll make the shape of his face and his cheekbones wonderful to make up for his ears though. I'll give him broad shoulders. For the job I want him to do, he'll need them. I'll give him a narrow waist and long arms and legs. I'll need him to stand tall. I'll give him large hands, for reaching out to people, for his hands on help I want him to do. I'll give him large feet, for the places I want him to go he has to cover a lot of ground. But wait, this body is perfect. I'll make him too thin. I'll give him health but he'll have to have some allergies. I don't want his life to be so perfect that he forgets who's in charge of it. I'll give him a beautiful spirit but it will be up to him to keep that spirit beautiful. I want him to be a teacher. I'll give him intelligence. I'll give him a heart full of love and compassion. But I'll have to add some self-deprecation to keep him from being perfect. I'll give him a nice laugh, a contagious laugh. I'll put in a high pitched giggle so it won't be perfect. He needs a talent. I want him to have a talent that all will love so that he is heard around the world. I need him to be heard. I'll give him a voice. A singing voice. A speakers voice. The voice will be perfect. I want people to know that this child is special. He works for me.
Thank you God for giving us Clay just like he is. He's perfect!

Why can't I just kick RL in the butt, push it away, and spend the entire time Clacking?? Ohhhh no, it's usually the other way around and I can't seem to escape it. Dang it!
Needless to say, I'm behind on the PPs and I also missed a few birthdays. Soooo, a very HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY to Wendy N., Phyll in NJ., Pats, NC Jennifer, Frances, and Texas Gal.
A very Happy Mother's Day to all the mum Broads too. Hope you have a wonderful day!
And now onto the Clayton... I read on another fan site that Clay is supposed to be on the On Air With Ryan Seacrest show tomorrow 5/10. Has anyone else heard this? Ohhh, please let it be true. I'm in such need of new Clack that it isn't even funny. The TV appearances are far and few. I haven't seen or heard of any new magazines with HRH in them. There are no dates for the Coming Tour here in Southern California. Clayton, why are you doing this to me??? Whaaaa!!!!
OK enough ranting. I'd better go and clean my house before the MIL gets here.
I wish I could say that I was going to bed with thoughts of Clay in me, but it seems a little early for that....
Hugs and kisses to all Mah Broads!

Just letting you know that I've sent to Mrs. Parker the beautiful Mother's Day greeting on the MP, noting that it's from LBFCA. As you might gather, she does not read the PPs.
